| Developed
by the International Code Council, the International Mechanical
Code (IMCŽ) establishes minimum regulations for mechanical systems
using prescriptive and performance-related provisions.
It is
founded on broad-based principles that make possible the use of
new materials and new mechanical designs. Additionally, the
International Mechanical Code is designed to be compatible with
the National Codes published by Building Officials and Code
Administrators International (BOCA), the Standard Codes published
by Southern Building Code Congress International (SBCCI) and the
Uniform Codes published by ICBO.
The
loose-leaf edition is in a durable seven-hole binder and includes
sheet lifters.
