The Wear Particle Atlas CD-ROM contains
nearly 1,000 vivid microscopic images of particles that identify a multitude
of common wear modes and faults in mechanical machinery. It is ideal for
those analyzing and interpreting oil analysis information, especially where
analytical ferrography and filter patch testing is performed.
The atlas introduces a totally new concept
for trending and describing wear debris. A unique severity coding system
lets you easily determine what stage of failure the machine is experiencing.
The Atlas is organized into eight different
sections covering a host of wear and contaminant particle types. Each slide
is described in detail as to the particle source, mode of wear, and
severity.
