Reliabilityweb.com, an industrial plant
reliability web site (http://www.reliabilityweb.com)
announced the launch of a new CMMS
Benchmarking Survey today. The survey is
designed to identify "CMMS Best Practices" as well
as provide each participant with a benchmark to use in their own CMMS projects.
The survey is designed and managed by Ruth

a CMMS benchmarking firm located in Chicago, Illinois.
Additional oversight is provided from Robert Baldwin, Editor of Maintenance
Technology Magazine (http://www.mt-online.com).
"We have heard many stories about failed
CMMS implementations from Reliabilityweb.com
members." states Terrence O'Hanlon, publisher "This survey
will provide a snapshot of today's "CMMS Best Practices" as well
as what is average!"
O'Hanlon goes on to explains that the
Benchmarking Survey is the first step in a
continuing education process designed to inform the industrial plant reliability
market in the area of machinery asset information management.
Participation in the survey is anonymous and open

the June 2001 issue of Maintenance Technology Magazine and
at Reliabilityweb.com.
